Restricted Area

The Grenzdenkmal Hötensleben is one of the few sections of the inner-German border that has been preserved in its original state.

The Grenzwandler tour “Restricted Area” supplements the information boards on site with personal recollections from people who lived or were stationed in this section of the border.

Some of these stops can be explored online as part of the virtual tour.
